Some ideas to minimise water consumption at the garden

Summer at Costa del Sol will arrive very soon. It will be again very hot, the sun will be shinning for months, and the rain will not come back until October. Our water invoices will rise up badly, so it is time to consider some changes at our garden. Of course the artificial lawn is the best way to take down 2/3 of your water consumtion in summer, but of course there is more you can do. Look at the images of this garden. Big areas of the garden are planted with a variety of cactus and suculent plants. The soil is covered by vulcanique stones. Echium Candicans with its huge blue flowers are covering another big planting area. They do need very little water and cares. Cactus will surprise you mostly all year long with flowers of all colours.
